A tour to enjoy the gourmet food of Hokkaido such as crab, scallop, salmon roe, salmon & other seafood, soup curry, ramen, genghis khan, etc. Unfortunately, some restaurants cannot accept large of number people, so the tour is limited to 12 people. Let’s enjoy Hokkaido spring with the food and flowers. |

After arriving at Shin-Chitose airport, we go to hotel that's within the airport so you can rest early. |

HIDAKA ECLIPSE HOTEL
|
From the hotel we go to the Upopoi National Ainu Museum and Park. Japan’s northernmost national museum and the first one dedicated to the history and culture of the indigenous Ainu people. Then we visit Mukawa town, which is famous for Shishamo (kind of smelt fish). Lunch is Shishamo cuisine. After lunch we go to Thoroughbred Ginza Road of Niikappu town famous for breeding racehorses. We can see racehorses running energetically on a large ranch. Next visit a Record Museum, home of about 1 million records. On the finest record player enjoy listening to the best of music. Then we go to the hotel. | × |

TOKACHI GARDENS HOTEL♨

After leaving the hotel we go to Cape Erimo, it is famous for strong winds. We visit the Wind Museum to experience the wind speed of 56mph. And we go to Cape Erimo’s observation deck. We can see the mother and baby seals. Lunch is Zangi (Karaage) set meal. Restaurant use delicious local chicken. After lunch we visit the Shichiku Garden, Akiyo Shichiku once had an ambition to make Hokkaido into an island of flowers. This popular garden is creating an ever evolving dream to those who adore the beauty of flowers. Next go to Ban-ei Horse Racing in Obihiro, where horses compete on power and speed by pulling heavy iron sleds. Those that want to bet can do so. Then we go to the hotel. Dinner is Obihiro's famous Buta-don (pork rice bowl) at a restaurant "Fujimori" that has been in business for over 100 years. After dinner we can take those that want to go see the Yataimura, where food stalls are lined up for Japanese street cuisines & drinking. |

From the hotel we visit Ryugetsu Sweetpia Garden, a Hokkaido confectionery shop & factory, most popular items are An Bata San, Sanporoku. If lucky you can buy the outlet sweets cheap. Next go to Tanchozuru Natural Park. you can see the Tancho Tsuru (red-crowned Japanese crane). Then we go to Kushiro Washo Market, it is ranked as one of the three famous markets of Hokkaido alongside Sapporo's Nijo Market and Hakodate's Morning Market. Lunch is Katte Don. We can buy a bowl of rice and wander around the market to find shrimps, sea urchin, salmon roe… your favourite ingredients to make your own Katte Don. After lunch we go through the Kushiro Marshland to go see Mt. Io (Iozan), still an active volcano where you can see the yellow sulfurous vents. Next go to Lake Mashu, a clear caldera lake which is often covered with thick fog making it a mysterious lake. Then we go to the hotel. | × |

From the hotel we go to Shiretoko peninsula (world natural heritage site). See Oshinkoshin waterfall, then we visit Shiretoko Ezo Deer Farm and see many Ezo deers. Lunch is Salmon & Salmon Roe Bowl at Utoro town famous for salmon. After lunch we visit Shiretoko National Park Nature Center, a visitor center where you can learn more about this area. Then we go to see Shiretoko Five Lakes. Next drive through the “Road to Sky”. The roughly 11mile stretch of road appears to be leading up into the sky, giving it the nickname Road to Sky. Then we return to the same hotel. |

From the hotel we go to the Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park, the grounds all covered with lots of pink shibazakura. It is a breathtaking beauty. Then we visit the Abashiri Prison Museum, building that have been used since the Meiji-era (1868-1912), is preserved from then and is open to the public as a museum. Next go to Lake Saroma famous for scallop. Lunch is scallop cuisine. After lunch we visit to the Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park, see over a million colorful tulips. Then we go to the hotel in Mombetsu city famous for crab. Dinner is a variety of crab cuisine. |

BIEI

From the hotel we visit Okhotsk Sea Ice Museum GIZA. We can watch a short video about the drift ice and experience ice room where the temperature is kept at minus 4 Fahrenheit. We can see and touch the real drift ice. Next, we go to Asahikawa Ramen Village, there are about 8 ramen shops representing Asahikawa. Choose your favorite ramen for lunch. After lunch we visit the Otokoyama Sake Brewery & Museum, famous sake known worldwide and within Japan. Then we go to see the Aoi-Ike (Blue Pond), a man-made pond with a natural blue colored pond due to the minerals in the water. Next go to see the Shirahige Waterfalls. An underground river from Mt. Tokachi tumbles down, creating a magnificent waterfall. The Biei River below is also known as the Blue River for its shining, cobalt blue hue. Then we go to the hotel. |

From the hotel we visit the Takushinkan photo gallery and White birch corridor. A photo gallery for works by landscape photographer Shinzo Maeda. Some sixty photographs of Biei in every season are on display. Then we go to the Furano Winery, is open to the public and includes free wine tasting. Lunch is a famous soup curry made with local Furano ingredients. After lunch we go to the hotel in Sapporo. | × |

From the hotel we go to Otaru, ride a rickshaw to explore. Visit Music Box Museum & Shops and Kitaichi Glassware Shops. Lunch is Kaiten-Sushi using fresh seafood ingredients. Eat anything you want, any amount. After lunch we go to Odori Park and see the Sapporo Lilac Festival. Then we go to the Ario shopping mall and Dinner is at Sapporo Beer Garden Restaurant, a specialty of Hokkaido, Genghis Khan you grill lamb meat & vegetables on a metal skillet and will include beer unlimited. Then return to the same hotel. | × |

After checking out of hotel we go to Nijo Ichiba (Market), known for it's huge range of freshly caught raw produce & it's eating stalls. You can buy dried seafood, dried scallops, etc. to bring home. Lunch is Kamameshi made with Hokkaido ingredients. After lunch we go to the Abira Nanohana Festival (Canola flower). The vast landscape created by agricultural activities is nothing short of spectacular, with rape blossoms blooming all over the place like a yellow carpet. Then we go to Shin-Chitose airport for your departure flight to Honolulu. |
