This tour is for enjoying the spring in the countryside. With this schedule after the spring holidays, you can avoid the crowds of cherry blossom viewing and sightseeing places. You can enjoy a relaxing trip by staying at the hot spring hotels for two nights each. *There is no Onsen for the hotel in Nagaoka. For lunch & dinner you can enjoy famous local & country-style specialties. We recommend this tour for those that want leisurely and to relax. |

Arrive at Narita airport, then we go to the hotel not far from the hotel. After check in we can ride the hotel shuttle bus and go to Aeon Mall for shopping and eating. |

From the hotel we visit Ushiku Daibutsu, completed in 1993 and s one of the tallest statues in the world and at 390feet is the tallest Buddhist statue. we can ride an elevator to the viewing gallery at 280 feet, from where there are incredible views on a clear day as far as the Tokyo Skytree. After lunch we visit Kawagoe Town, is most famous for its many traditional buildings, which have earned it the nickname Koedo (literally "Little Edo"). Then we go to the hotel. |

From the hotel we visit the Akagi Nanmen Senbon Zakura. Over 1,000 cherry trees bloom along about 1mile stretch of road near the foot of Mount Akagi. Food stalls line the street, creating a lively atmosphere and giving visitors plenty of opportunities to grab a tasty snack as you stroll. Then we go to see the Fukiware Falls, often referred to as “the Niagara Falls of Japan.” Lunch is all-you-can-eat yuba at Yuba Factory Machida-ya. After lunch we visit Doai Station, is the deepest station in Japan. Please see for yourself why such a mysterious station exists. Then we go back to the same hotel. |

NAGAOKA

From the hotel we go to see Kiyotsu Gorge, it is one of the Three Great Gorges of Japan. Gigantic stone cliffs straddle a river, forming a large, V-shaped gorge. The grand rock surface and strong current of the river in combination are both dynamic and beautiful. Then we go to Nishikigoi no Sato in Ojiya city. The city of Ojiya is the birthplace of Nishikigoi carps & is the only place in the world where a wide variety of live Nishikigoi can be seen and on display along with information showing the history of their improvements. Lunch is the famous hegi soba. This is a local dish that uses seaweed as a binder. After lunch we visit the Nagaoka Fireworks Museum. The biggest attraction of the museum is the Fireworks Theater, a dome-shaped theatre where visitors can experience the Nagaoka Fireworks held each year on August 2 and 3. Enjoy the marvelous spectacle of this wonderful fireworks event. Then we go to the hotel. |

From the hotel we go to Tsubame-Sanjo, famous as a production town. We visit Tsubame Industrial Materials Museum. We can experience to make Cup tsuchime hammering, using a hammer to add elegant tsuchime dimpling to the surface of a provided copper cup. Then we go to TSUBAMESANJO Regional Products Center. Our big sales floor features nearly 10,000 unique items including kitchen utensils, pots, and tools in addition to locally made metal works. Then we visit Teradomari Fish Market Street, a market lined with seafood and souvenir shops. The street is also commonly known as “Sakana no Ameyoko". Lunch is specialty Crab Ramen. After lunch we go to see the largest torii gate in Japan. Next visit the Ponshukan, is a sake “theme park” where you can sample leading local sake brands, purchase sake-related goods. Then we go to the hotel. After checking in of the hotel, we will have a bowling tournament. Participants will receive some gifts. |

From Niigata port with the ferry depart at 12:35 pm and arrive 15:05 am at Ryotsu port. Lunch is bento on the ferry. After arrive the port we visit Toki no Mori (Toki Forest Park), a conservation park and museum where you can see the Toki (crested ibis bird). Then we go to the hotel. | × |

TABINO HOTEL♨

Take a leisurely tour of Sado island. You can ride their popular Taraibune, a wooden tub-shaped boat originally used for collecting seaweed, shellfish by the divers. Next we go to Shukunegi, a small village used to be a ship-building town, a number of it's houses are built out of lumber salvaged from boat hulls. Then we visit Sengokubune Exhibit Hall, display of sailing ships of Edo period. After lunch we visit Obata Sake Brewery, famous sake brewery, about 5th generation of sake brewing family in Sado. After tour of the brewery you can taste some of the sake. Next, we visit Mano Park, one of the best cherry blossoms viewing spots in Sado. Then we go to see Kitazawa Flotation Plant Ruins, it is the site where the final stages of gold mining took place, an ore beneficiation plant facility. Next we visit Sado Kinzan (Sado Gold Mine), it is the remains of a once flourishing large gold and silver mine during the Tokugawa government. Then we return to the same hotel. | × |

From Ryotsu port ride the ferry depart at 9:15 and arrive 11:45 at Niigata port. Visit Niigata Furusato Village, there is Niigata pref.’s history, specialty goods, souvenirs, local foods, etc. to enjoy. Lunch is Niigata's local specialty Tarekatsu-ju (deep-fried tonkatsu dipped in a shoyu sauce & served on top of rice in a box). After lunch we visit the Snow Country Experience Corner where visitors can experience snow throughout the year. Next go to see Nicchu Line Weeping Cherry Blossom. The tracks of the now-closed Nicchu Railway Line have been restored as a cycling and walking path, from which you can view 1,000 weeping cherry blossom trees. Then we go to the hotel. | × |

From the hotel we visit Aizu Bukeyashiki, a reconstructed large samurai residence served as the quarters of the region's most important and highest ranked samurai, as well as his family, employees, and servants. Then we visit Tsuruga-jo Sakura Festival with pink and white cherry trees. Lunch is Kitakata Ramen. After lunch we go to see Goshiki-numa, one of five colored lakes formed after an eruption. The colors mysteriously change throughout the year with the weather, it has become a popular tourist destination. Then we return to the same hotel. |

From the hotel we visit Sazae-do. The double-helix wooden structure is the only one of its kind in the world and has been designated an Important Cultural Property. Then we visit Ouchi-juku, it was a small post town during the Edo period and part of the Aizu Nishi Kaido. It is famous for the numerous traditional thatched roof buildings from the Edo period that line it's main street. After lunch we go to a strawberry farm along the route where you can enjoy picking and eating it there. Then we go to the hotel in Kinugawa onsen. |

From the hotel visit Nikko Toshogu, a Shinto shrine & the final resting place of the founder and first shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. One of the stunning features of this shrine are the colorful decorative wood carvings with some gold leaf, that's at the gates and exterior walls of several buildings. Next go to see Kegon Falls, one of three great waterfalls of Japan. After lunch we visit Tobu World Square, a theme park with smaller scale models of world famous buildings, including Unesco-designated World Cultural & Heritage Sites. Then we go to the same hotel. |

After check out of hotel we go to see Koinobori no Sato Matsuri at Tsuruda river, there are about 3700 multi-colored carps flying. Koinobori means "carp streamer" in Japanese, are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Children’s Day (May 5). Then we visit Tsutsujigaoka Park Azalea Festival, enjoy around 10,000 azaleas. Next, we go to Narita Aeon Mall for shopping for lunch and shopping. Then we go to Narita airport for your departure to Honolulu. |
