From the hotel go to Gujo-Hachiman, famous city for their dance and food sample making. Visit Hakurankan Museum and watch the Gujo Odori demonstration that they have every day. Staffs in yukata introduce simply the contents and the secret stories of about 10 types of dances. Then visit & look at a Food replica workshop and also experience making a smartphone stand. Lunch is Hida beef sukiyaki, a sukiyaki pot that’s set per person. Next go to Takayama, look around and walk the Sannomachi Street, a preserved old town called “Little Kyoto” of Japan’s Gifu region. From the hotel go to Miyagawa Morning Market, this asaichi has been going on about 200 years selling fresh vegetables, folk art crafts, etc. Next visit a world heritage site of Shirakawa-go, famous for their gassho-zukuri houses and also to Gokayama village (One of 31 Japan’s most beautiful places selected by CNN). It is also famous for the gassho-zukuri houses on a small scale compared to Shirakawa-go but with less tourists you can enjoy the country-side sceneries leisurely. Lunch is your choice at restaurant. RICHMOND HOTEL

From the hotel taking the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, it is one of the world’s leading mountain sightseeing route that runs through the Northern Alps, which is lined with peaks at an altitude of 3000m. The total length is 37.2 km and the maximum height is 1,975m. Also the entire section is located in Chubu Mountain National Park. On the way view the snow walls at Murodo. Sightseeing of Kurobe Dam, a variable-radius arch-style dam on the Kurobe river in Toyama pref. It supports the 335MW Kurobe no.4 Hydropower plant and is owned by Kansai Electric Power Co. From the hotel visit Seki Tradition Swordsmith Museum, Seki is a city known for their Japanese swords, knives and other steel cutleries. See various kinds of Japanese swords. Then visit Rare Goods Center selling 50,000 antiques & there may be some bargains for sale. Lunch is your choice at restaurant. Next visit the Sekigahara battlefield and Sekigahara Museum, in 1600 the West Army led by Ishida Mitsunari and the East Army led by Tokugawa clan had their Great Battle. The battle of Sekigahara was to decide who would rule Japan. Then go to hotel. After check-in for those that want to go can go to the Atsuta Festival. It is Atsuta Jingu shrine’s most important and majestic festival. Within the shrine’s premises, rare traditional and martial arts performances, as well as other unusual forms of entertainment are held as offerings to the deities. In the evening there is fireworks show with about 1,000 different types is launched from the nearby Jingu Park. You can ride Japan’s oldest steam locomotive that’s within the park & let’s enjoy the Meiji period. Lunch is your choice at restaurant. Next go to Nagahama & visit the Kaiyodo Figure Museum, you can see small gacha-gacha figures that's inside “gashapon" capsule vending machines, dinosaurs and anime figures. Then go to hotel. From the hotel sightseeing of Amanohashidate, one of three Japan’s best scenic views. It is a natural-made sand bar covered with many pine trees. View it from the top to see land, bend down and look between your legs to see the dragon ascending to heaven. Then visit Ine, a small quiet fishing town and is famous for it’s unique funaya (boat house). These wooden buildings sit right on the water and serve as both dock and home for the fishermen of the village. The boats are housed in the first floor, with the second floor serving as the dwelling area. Nice sightseeing scenery of these funaya (boat houses). Lunch is your choice at restaurant. Next visit Heian shrine and see the beautiful Hanashoubu or the Iris flower. Then go to hotel.

From the hotel visit Kenninji, famous as a art temple & oldest Zen temple in Kyoto. Visitors can admire images of dragons painted on the interior sliding doors & a gilded folding screen adorned with one of the most famous images of the wind and thunder gods. Another visually striking artwork is the twin dragons painted on the ceiling of the Dharma Hall. Then visit Tofukuji temple, famous for their many green maple leaves. Lunch is your choice at restaurant. Next go to Fushimi Inari shrine and see the Taue Festival, it is a five-grain fertility wish for good harvest festival. As the shrine maidens dance there are girls that do the rice planting. Then return to same hotel.

From the hotel go to Osaka Shin Sekai (Good old city of Osaka), where the atmosphere of the Showa period remains. Visit Tsutenkaku, a symbol of Naniwa, also known as the Eiffel Tower of Osaka. Go up to the observatory and see the view of Osaka. Lunch is Osaka's famous “Kushiage" (deep fried skewers). Next go to visit Dotombori for shopping. Then go to Kansai airport for your departure flight to Honolulu.
