From Narita go to Ibaraki, visit Ushiku Daibutsu completed in 1993 and was one of the tallest statue at 120 metres (390 ft.) tall includes the statue and the base. An elevator takes visitors up to the observation floor. Next visit Konnyaku Park, in Gunma prefecture where holds Japan's highest amount of producing konnyaku. Offers tour of the making of konnyaku, and you can try tasting various kinds of konnyaku dish. Then go to hotel. |

From the hotel go to Ueda Castle Sakura Festival, is known for it's cherry blossoms and has over 1,000 trees planted around the castle ruins. In the end of the Meiji period Ueda castle became popular for their sakura trees. For lunch at Kinoko Mura, is a mushroom cuisine. Next visit Onioshidashi Park, a landscape of volcanic rocks that gives a unique and rugged appearance. Then go to see Shiraito Falls, Karuizawa's scenic nature spot before returning to same hotel. |

From hotel go to Karuizawa station, ride the Shinano Railways special Rokumon train to Tokura station, runs through the crisp highland air, and enjoy Nagano's scenic countryside. See the valley covered with whitish-pink apricot blossoms at the Anzu no Sato (Apricot Village). Next visit Zenkoji temple, it houses the first Buddhist statue that came to Japan and one of the most important & popular temple. Walking into the pitch dark underground passageway to enlightenment, try your luck at finding the‘Key to Paradise’. Then go to hotel. | × |

Visit Hokusai Museum which features paintings & wood-block prints by the famous Ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai. Next visit the Suzaka City Zoo, it's not that big but you can see many kinds of animals. You can see the Capybaras (a cute large rodent) taking a bath in an open-air onsen. Next go to a Shinshu Soba storehouse, and then experience making japanese soba (buckwheat noodle). After go to see Kawanakajima battlefield, fought in the Sengoku period between Takeda Shingen of Kai province & Uesugi Kenshin of Echigo province in the plain of Kawanakajima, ‘the island between the rivers'. SADO AIKAWA

From the Naoetsu port with the ferry departing 9:30am and arrive at 11:10am at Ogi port. At Ogi port, you can ride their popular Taraibune, a wooden tub-shaped boat originally used for collecting seaweed, shellfish by the divers. Next go to Shukunegi, a small village used to be a ship-building town, a number of it's houses are built out of lumber salvaged from boat hulls. Next visit Sengokubune Exhibit Hall, display of sailing ships of Edo period. Then visit Obata Sake Brewery, famous sake brewery, about 5th generation of sake brewing family in Sado. After tour of the brewery you can taste some of the sake. Then go to hotel. |

AIZU

Visit Mano Park, one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Sado. Next see Kitazawa Flotation Plant Ruins, it is the site where the final stages of gold mining took place, an ore beneficiation plant facility. Next visit Sado Kinzan (Sado Gold Mine), it is the remains of a once flourishing large gold and silver mine during the Tokugawa government. Then visit Toki no Mori (Toki Forest Park), a conservation park and museum where you can see the toki (crested ibis bird). Next from Ryotsu port ride the ferry departing at 12:40 and arrive at 15:10 at Niigata port. Then go to hotel in Aizu-Wakamatsu. | × |

From the hotel visit Aizu Bukeyashiki, a reconstructed large samurai residence served as the quarters of the region's most important and highest ranked samurai, as well as his family, employees, and servants. Next go to Aizu-Wakamatsu Castle Sakura Festival with pink and white cherry trees next to Tsuruga-jo castle. Then go to Goshiki-numa, one of five colored lakes formed after an eruption. The colors mysteriously changes throughout the year with the weather, it has become a popular tourist destination. After return to same hotel. |

KINUGAWA

From the hotel visit Ouchi-juku, was a small post town during the Edo period and part of the Aizu Nishi Kaido. It is famous for the numerous traditional thatched roof buildings from the Edo period that line it's main street. Next go to a strawberry farm along the route where you can enjoy picking and eating it there. Then go to hotel in Kinugawa onsen district in Nikko. |

KINUGAWA HOTEL ASAYA♨ |
From the hotel visit Nikko Toshogu, a Shinto shrine and the final resting place of the founder and first shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. One of the stunning features of this shrine are the colorful decorative wood carvings with some gold leaf, that's at the gates and exterior walls of several buildings. Next go to see Kegon Falls, one of three great waterfalls of Japan. Then visit Tobu World Square, a theme park with smaller scale models of world famous buildings, including Unesco-designated World Cultural & Heritage Sites. Return to same hotel. |

After check out of hotel visit the Tsukuba Botan (Peony) Garden, at peak season they have about 20,000 flowers in bloom of many varieties. Next go to Narita Aeon Mall for any last minute shopping. Then go to Narita airport for your departure. | × |
